Habitat for Humanity Edmonton opens sixth ReStore location with ribbon cutting in St. Albert

ALBERT, ALBERTA – Habitat for Humanity Edmonton proudly celebrated the opening of its sixth ReStore location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Albert on Thursday, July 24. The private event brought together key government officials and community partners, including St. Albert Deputy Mayor Ken MacKay, several City Councillors, Michael Cooper, Member of Parliament for St. Albert—Sturgeon River, and Dale Monaghan, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Alberta. Habitat Edmonton’s President and CEO, Dr. Ann-Marie Reddy, officially welcomed attendees and thanked the community for its support. Located at 730 St. Albert Trail, this new ReStore is the first in the organization’s history to share a building with Goodwill, with both organizations operating independently within the same location. The partnership highlights a shared commitment to community impact. To welcome the public, Habitat Edmonton is also hosting a Grand Opening Celebration Sale on Saturday, July 26. Habitat for Humanity Edmonton Celebrates Leduc ReStore Opening with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

For Immediate Release – May 30, 2025 LEDUC, ALBERTA – Habitat for Humanity Edmonton proudly marked the official opening of its newest ReStore location in Leduc with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 29. The special event was attended by local dignitaries and community partners, including Leduc City Councillor Beverly Beckett, who did the honours of cutting the ribbon alongside Habitat Edmonton’s President and CEO, Dr. Ann-Marie Reddy, and Board Chair, Andy England. This milestone marks Habitat Edmonton’s fifth ReStore location, expanding its network of donation-driven retail stores that directly support the organization’s mission to make affordable homeownership possible for more individuals and families across northern Alberta. While the formal ceremony was held on Thursday, the organization is inviting the public to celebrate with them during a grand opening event on Saturday, May 31, at the Leduc ReStore located at 222–3601 82 Avenue.
