Habitat for Humanity Edmonton builds homes locally; however, we also support Habitat for Humanity International, who builds strength, stability, and self-reliance in developing countries.
Over one billion people worldwide live in informal settlements that lack basic services like water, sanitation, and electricity. In May, Habitat for Humanity launched a five-year campaign aimed at changing policies globally, regionally, nationally, and locally to provide safe and secure housing for people living in informal settlements.
