At Habitat Edmonton, the holiday season is a time to reflect, celebrate, and express gratitude for the incredible support of our community. On November 26, we hosted our Holiday Open House, bringing together supporters to honour the impact we’ve made together this year.
The event was filled with warmth, connection, and inspiration. Guests enjoyed mingling over refreshments, appetizers, and festive cheer. Adding to the festive atmosphere was a beautiful performance by Annie Bulman, violinist with Singing Strings, whose music created a magical ambiance throughout the evening.
The evening opened with a heartfelt address by our CEO, Dr. Ann-Marie Reddy, who shared Habitat Edmonton’s accomplishments and reaffirmed our commitment to empowering homeowners through strength, stability, and self-reliance.
A highlight of the evening was hearing directly from Habitat homeowner Camillia, who shared her personal journey of achieving affordable homeownership. Her story was a poignant reminder of why we do what we do — offering hope and opportunity to those who need it most.
We also shared two impactful videos during the event. Our Impact Video provided an overview of this year’s milestones and achievements, showcasing the numbers behind our mission. Meanwhile, Acelyn’s Story gave a touching glimpse into the transformational power of homeownership, as told through the eyes of a Habitat homeowner and her family.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening, as well as those who continue to support Habitat Edmonton. Together, we’ve achieved so much this year, and we look forward to continuing this important work in 2025.
