Annual General Meeting (AGM)
April 30 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
We’re happy to share that Habitat for Humanity Edmonton’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Strathcona County Buildings (2001 Sherwood Drive, Sherwood Park). The meeting will run from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
The AGM is an important chance each year to look back on what we’ve accomplished, see the impact of our programs, and talk about where we’re headed next. It’s also a great opportunity to hear about key decisions, learn more about how the organization is governed, and see how individual and collective involvement helps move our work forward. Most importantly, it’s a chance to connect with others in the Habitat community and see how our efforts are helping strengthen families and communities across Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Society Membership
Becoming a society member means taking on a meaningful role within Habitat Edmonton and supporting the direction of the organization. Members have the ability to vote on decisions at the AGM and help shape our future. Membership is a simple but important way to show your commitment to Habitat’s work and have a voice in where we’re going.
Why Attend the AGM
Whether or not you’re a voting member, the AGM is a great way to get more involved. By attending, you can:
- Learn more about Habitat Edmonton’s priorities, projects, and long-term goals
- Hear updates on program results, operations, and community impact
- Share your perspective and be part of conversations that influence the organization’s future
- Deepen your connection to the families, volunteers, and communities we serve
Membership Payment
This year, we’re making membership payments easier by using Trellis instead of CanadaHelps. Trellis doesn’t charge per-transaction fees, which means more of your contribution goes directly to supporting Habitat’s work. Please follow this link to purchase your membership: AGM Membership
Please note that memberships must be purchased before March 30, 2026 to be eligible to attend and participate fully.
