This just came out and we are obsessed.
DIY creator Danie Berger, better known as DIY In Progress on YouTube and @diyinprogress_ on Instagram, recently visited a Habitat ReStore and found a secondhand dresser with serious potential.
Then she turned it into a seriously gorgeous custom cabinet.
The full thrift flip has everything we love: a great before-and-after, a creative eye, unique hardware, and the kind of transformation that makes you immediately want to start a project you may or may not have time for.
And honestly? That is part of the magic of ReStore!
You never quite know what you are going to find. It might be a dresser waiting for a second life, a set of knobs that suddenly solves your cabinet problem, a piece of furniture with good bones, or one oddly perfect item that somehow makes your whole Pinterest board make sense.
Danie’s project is a great reminder that ReStore is not just a place to shop. It is a place to hunt, imagine, and find something you can make completely your own.
With 6 ReStore locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area, there is plenty of treasure to hunt.
Your Pinterest board has been warned.
Watch Danie’s full thrift flip, then visit your local ReStore and see what you can find.
